today is officially the First Annual Roomie Fun Day! YAHOO!!!!!
That entails getting pedicures and having dinner together. For that, my roomie and I went to get pedicures and we are going to a cookout on campus together. However, my pedicure is SHIT. A freaking man did mine... never again will a man give me a pedicure - unless he is flamingly homosexual. AND!!!! he refused to give me a design... who does that? its FREE! whatever... so I'm going to have to go back next week or so to get another. damn you pedicure man.
on another note - i developed my first roll of film today. it was very exciting. my friend himi and i were in the pitch black room off of the dark room developing the negatives. man... that was crazy. haha. We had to present our photograms today - mine is cool. it is a striking contrast between very black and very white. next friday, we present our motion photos... i just took a full roll today of kristin and leah playing tennis. we have to switch the shutter speeds to make things blur or not. i hope i did it well. i will take some more motion pictures this weekend just to have some variety. coach wants to buy the prints... haha! and put them up in his office! HAHAHAHAHA
hmm... what else is there to say? i have been quite a busy bee as of late. I am now the new operations director of KMSC and doing some DJing too. I get paid for that - woot! Had training today for my other job - specialist caller for prospective studetns. I begin that job next wednesday night. get paid for that one too - woot!
Last night we had a team outing to the Sioux City Explorer's baseball game... they won, surprisingly. Eric told me at the beginning that the players rarely hit foul balls over the side of the stadium. BULLSHIT! i think 15-20 balls were hit over last night... i was frightened that one would hit my car, being that it was in the front row. but, alas, no damage. then, one of the X's hit a foul ball, and his bat slipped out of his hands... it landed at the top of the safety net behind home plate. FUNNY!
well... i should probably get ready for our cookout. its for the apartments only. yummy free food - despite the fact that i ate mcdonalds 2 hours ago... oh well!
