I have been sitting in this chair in the study lounge since around 6:30pm. I have only left this chair to pee, let someone in the door, and print off some papers.
Lame, no?
Well, people. Tuesday was officially the last day of classes for this year. Thank god. It couldn't have come at a more convenient time.
Of course.... that meant finals.
Which start tomorrow.
Which means my week thus far has involved doing things for finals. For example, Tuesday night was dedicated to writing my 9.5 page thesis paper. It is not good. I do not care. It's finished.
Another example could be today/tonight. How exceptional to spend my dead day being overly busy and scatterbrained. Like I said, I have been sitting in this chair since 6:30pm. Doing what? My final presentation for my Spanish Lit course. Would have helped if I read the novel, but oh well. And it probably would have been nice to have a partner who A) knew which book we chose and B) knew the author's name. Was I really asking too much? By the way... just to clarify, I DID NOT choose him - we were placed together.
Anywhoo... this week severely sucks.
My thesis paper, though finished, is due tomorrow night before midnight.
Spanish Lit presenation is tomorrow at 12:45. It has to be 20 minutes. Hopefully Nata and I can BS for that long...?
I have my video project due Friday by midnight, too. Haven't even started it. No video has been taken. But I do have two interviews set up for tomorrow... and hope to get some footage at practice. Otherwise, footage will be taken at our last meet on Friday (cutting it close like normal, people). This could work against me, however. God could make it rain on Friday, moving the meet indoors... meaning it will take hecka-long. Meaning I may not be back with enough time to sufficiently edit and package my story.
OH WELL.
Sucks to procrastinate on everything.
After that video project is turned in, I am scott free from school. Sure, I have my COMM 411 final on Monday at 10am, but we're just discussing the thesis papers. And i have my COMM 324 final on Monday at 1, but we're just watching the video projects.
AHHH.........
I just need to make it another day... one more. That's all I need. Then everything will be right and I'll be headed towards Smash City.
By the way, did I mention I'm going to one of the frat formals this weekend? Got me a fancy dress for the occaision. I will look smashing, darlin'. Granted I don't rip or puke on it.
Well, I am pooped. Long days call for long sleeps.
