So I've had a somewhat active weekend. Friday was a LONG day for me. I had to get up early to be on a panel for the college. That lasted almost 2.5 hours... and I spoke A LOT. Afterwards, I napped.
Friday afternoon, Buddy and I went to see High Tension. That movie frickin rocked my socks! It truely was amazing... wicked crazy plot twists make me go mad wild for films. High Tension totally delivered.
The remainder of my Friday night is a blur... chances are I spent the majority of it watching tv with Buddy... ?
Saturday I had to get up early again for the panel thing again... then I had free lunch with people. Came back, attempted to nap. Then had a wedding to attend - I looked quite beautiful, I must admit. Good turquoise color scheme... pretty skirts and shirts make for better clothes.
Buddy had to dog sit, so she was gone all Saturday night. I basically bummed around and watched movies. Finally made it to my bed around 3:30 this morning.
GOt up today around 12:30, showered, blah blah blah. Then Angie and I decided to get some lunch at McDonalds. Tastes so much better here in the USA than in foreign countries :)
Buddy, Angie, Clint, and I decided to take in another movie this afternoon. Free passes make me happy. Saw Cinderella Man - terrific movie. I would say a definite must see for the summer. I didn't think I'd fancy it all that much, but boy-oh-boy did I love it. I was so nervous for Russell Crowe's character - I was biting my nails like crazy. All in all, great movie.
Had some TB for dinner... came back to the apt. Made sure not to miss Simpsons, Family Guy, and American Dad. All were super terrific tonight - I laughed like a maniac. Now i'm watching Ellen Degenerous' (?) comedy special on Comedy Central. Pretty funny stuff...
Yeah, I just realized how GOD AWEFUL this update is....
I'm going to quit writing... but only after I strongly encourage seeing High Tension and Cinderella Man.
Oh yeah - gonna see John this weekend!!!
