So... bodybuilding is DEFINITELY disgusting. And I'm watching this story on TLC titled "Supersize She" about a woman who wants to win the most prestigious bodybuilding competition in the world.
YUCK.
Anyhoo... i had a great weekend in CB. I know, that's a random thing - great and CB don't typically go in the same sentence. But, I hung out with friends and the parents and had a good time. Its always nice to get home and live in cold cold air conditioning.
Lets see... Friday night I went to dinner w/ Meg and Sara - went to Netties for some delicious mexican food. Then we picked up Joe and Kathleen in order to hit up Christy Creme and mini golf. I hit this amazing hole in one - you have no idea how awesome it was. Then on the last hole, i managed to hit the ball SUPER hard and it hit the "club house". LOL... super funny shit.
After all that, we made it to the Old Market and hit up the Upstream for some beers. I had this thing called 11 Tasters. Basically, you get a 4oz glass of all the different beers they offer. Some were super yummy... others disgusting. But, I finished every ounce.
Saturday I was rudely awakened by the dog at 7am. I did, however, go back to sleep. Got up and went searching around CB for decent priced queen mattresses. Found a few - but the quality may have been compromised. I dunno... but I just will wait until I get paid and until we move into the house. For the evening, my parents and I went to an Iowa Blackhawks game - saw some M'side people there... it was pretty awesome. First arena football game for me - and my "team" won.
Sunday was relatively lazy. But I did go shopping w/ the padres and they bought me some new shirts for my new job. I discovered I have NO dressy summer attire. Like, shirts that aren't long sleeved or sweatery. So I got some today. Then we found this dresser thing that is pretty cool for my room - I'll get two at $38 a piece. So I'm gonna get two w/ my paycheck this week. Granted I get paid....
Wow... I believe that was another long and boring update. Who gives a fuck...
BTW - "the boy whose skin fell off" is on tonight :) yay! I am excited to watch this documentary.
