Oh boy...
I am sooo overly happy that it is Thursday. That means I'm one more day closer to the weekend. Of course, that doesn't really matter since I have to work this weekend. But oh well.
I worked all day Tuesday - it was SO incredibbly boring. I basically watched movies for the entire 7 hours. I'm not complaining about that... cuz I love watching television for several hours a day. And this way, I am getting paid for doing nothing. Until customers come, of course... I did manage to sell about $2500 in products - of which I will receive NO commission.... SUCK.
I had yesterday and today completely off from Sears. It's been pretty nice just chillaxing on the internet all day long. Get my weekly fill, basically.
Last night, Angie, Clint and I went to see Wedding Crashers. That movie is freaking hilarious! Its a definite must see for the summer. One of the funniest movies I've seen in a while.
I got a call from Taera last night and she was in town for Goergen's birthday. Around 11 last night, she and Mallie stopped by the duplex to check it out and pick me up to go out. We hit up Tav on the Ave for a couple hours last night with the Acacians for Goergen's 21st. It was fun to just sit and chat.
What wasn't fun includes people smoking and smelling like smoke.
Tonight, my friend Jess and her band (What the Funk, I believe) are playing at Tailgaters. So I think we're going to check it out for a bit. Plus, Goergen is having his "true" 21st birthday tonight - the night of shots and total drunkenness.
But, I'm basically pretty much excited to see Jess! I haven't seen her since last summer at Sue's funeral. Now she's engaged and stuff... so I'll be meeting her fiance, too.
Hmmm... what else is new....
I was asked yesterday to take on a leadership position as an Executive Council member for student ambassadors. Basically, the only thing I have to do is tour train the newbies during the month of September. So it shouldn't be too difficult. Especially since I am SO good at giving tours. LOL.
And, I've been talking to this guy I met. He's pretty cool... he's a bartender at one of the gay bars (he is not gay, however), and seems pretty awesome. We were going to hang out last night (i.e, he was going to come to the movie with us), but he had a meeting and couldn't come. Lies? Who knows... either way he's pretty much a cool person, and if nothing comes of it, he'll still probably be someone to hang out and chillax with.
Not much else is too new. I have to work Friday night (5-9) and Saturday (10-5)... don't know about Sunday YET.
I should probably call and see if the new schedule has been put up...
Anyhoo.. I'm out for now.
