Alrighty... being that I haven't really updated for quite some time, I will actually fill this blog with much useless information.

Get ready.

Things are going pretty well in my life. Work is still fun and I enjoy most of the people I work with. Except Linda. She is the biggest bitch sometimes - especially since I'm still training. She does nothing when I work with her except tell me what to do. Its annoying as all get out. The only time she will help a customer is when they are buying a big screen or something expensive. And even when I am working with her and someone else, she is insistant that I use her commission number.

Sunday was the worst... I was working with Vassil (HOTTIE), Nick, Mat and Linda. I had been just chillaxing by the registers cuz there were not many people in the department, save for a group of hispanics looking at video cameras. I never saw Linda ask them for help - not once. Then Vassil went over to ask them if they needed any assistance, and they basically had decided to buy a camera. So Vassil starts ringing it up and such, then Linda gets all pissed cuz she "asked them for help first" and told them she "would be the one to help."

Anyway, Vassil lost the sale cuz she is pushy and bitchy like that. I dread going onto commission now cuz she's going to pull that shit on me. But I'm not afraid to put her in her place. And I won't help translate Spanish for her unless I get the sale.

Anyway... Like I mentioned earlier, my coworker Vassil is gorgeous. He is Bulgarian (very different from the Spring Break Bulgarian, Steffan). But he is married, so that sucks. But I like to flirt with him and talk to him - he's got a cute accent and such. So its all good.

Lets see... yesterday I went into work to learn how to do counts. Basically, Nick showed Mat and I how to use the Snic machine to scan all the floor models for different departments (Brand Central stuff) and then we had to do the same in the stock room. Got to operate the Wave machine - that cart thing that you can ride and get boxes off of tall shelves. Anyway, I got to use it first - and I was scared to death. I seriously can't drive it worth shit - but Nick told me it just takes some practice. I freakin hope so... but it was scary to lift up to the ceiling...

Yesterday was Nick's last day, too. He's such a cutie pie and super sweet and funny - but he's too young for me (18). He's going to Iowa State and plans to study Engineering, so I hope he does well. Said he'd be back for Christmas season and perhaps Thanksgiving if he is available.

OK... enough with work.

I mentioned in a previous blog that Angie and I went to Lincoln/Omaha for the weekend. It was pretty fun. We slept in until 9 and left Sioux City by 10:30/11ish. Got to Lincoln and went to lunch w/ Angie's sister and brother. Chinese at hy-vee sure is yummy - especially when it was free (thank you very much Andrew). Then we went shopping at Gordman's - I spent $54 on 3 pairs of shoes and a bar purse. The shoes were seriously worth it... one pair of dressy dark red Rampage's with a small 1 inch heel... one pair of sexy black Sag Harbor shoes (that Angie also purchased)... and one pair of black, pointy toed, 1 inch heeled Franco Sarto's... :) All in all, I saved over $150 because of the major clearance. Now I just need to find a good pair of dressy dark brown shoes....

Later that night, Angie's family, her bro's gf and I went to dinner at Brewsky's... had some Coors Light and a really yummy club sandwich. It was good times... and at 10pm, Cindy, Megan, Angie and I went to see the Skeleton Key. It was alright, but I wouldn't suggest spending the money if you don't want to.

Saturday began as a lazy day - Ang and I slept in until like 10:30, had breakfast and got ready for the day. We went to Applebee's for lunch w/ her brother, Cory, and mom, Cindy. Afterwards, we loaded the car up with TONS of stuff and headed for Omaha to shop at Torrid. I bought a few pairs of pants (2 dressy black, and a pair of cute jean capris). It was expensive... but worthwhile I hope. Oh, and I bought a new brown belt.

After Torrid, Ang and I went to my house for some dinner (sweet and sour pork) and to hang with my family.

All in all, the weekend was a blast.

Sunday I worked from 2-6.

Monday I did counts from 2-4.

THe remainder of my days usually include me sitting at the "du" and watching tv or sleeping.

Today, however, I decided to hang out at school and be online. Later I have to hit up the radio station and talk to Ross about 1- my internship and 2- doing independent study to take care of my Comm 247 class that is no longer offered but I need.

I work Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights... 5-9 on W/Th, and 6-8 PA training on Friday.

Friday is Angie's 22nd Birthday! And we're going out to celebrate on Saturday.

Kim is moving some stuff in tomorrow - the 17th, so that's exciting news too.

Angie mowed the lawn yesterday - it was soooo thick and today she is sore. I watched. LOL.

Hmm... what else is there...?

I don't know. So I'm going to stop writing now.

Chao!
